The route here
From the stage to the boardroom.
Kevin came to coaching through the rehearsal room. Twenty-three years as a professional actor taught him how authority is built and lost in front of an audience, and he has spent the last two decades applying that inside organisations, with leaders preparing for the moments that matter.
2003
Trained actor
BA in Acting, Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Stage and screen work in the UK, then Sydney.
2005
Into the business
Corporate role-play and assessment-centre work. Watching which leaders held up under pressure, and why.
2012
Bodkin founded
Bodkin Training Pty Ltd set up in Sydney. Facilitation, design and one-to-one coaching for senior leaders.

What we believe
Three things we won't compromise on.
These principles come from two decades inside organisations, watching what actually changes behaviour once the session ends. Every program we design has to pass all three.

Decisions over topics.
A session is built around something a person has to decide, commit to or do differently on Monday. If it can't name that, it doesn't run.

Root cause over symptom.
"We need presentation skills" is usually a symptom. We ask why until we reach the thing that is actually costing money, then design for that.

Permission, not just capability.
Senior people rarely lack the skill. More often they haven't given themselves permission to use the authority they already hold. Coaching that ignores this changes nothing.
