Hi, I'm Kevin MacIsaac

Founder of BODKIN

This is what I do.

 I've been coaching others, inadvertently, and sometimes uninvited, from a very young age.
I started a school newsletter when I was 10, and appointed myself Agony Uncle, for all my terribly stressed and angsty peers.

I've since learned to tame the advice and anecdote monsters within, and now am an experienced coach, training facilitator, actor, husband, and father...dog owner...in no particular order of ability or preference.

I've been a working actor since 2003 and, of course, worked a million survival jobs in my native UK. This built skill in carrying plates, pulling beers, telemarketing, website design, customer service, sales, with everything I did forcing me up an internal leadership ladder. 

When I stumbled into learning & development, everything (well, nearly everything) changed.
Medical role plays and assessments were first. Then leadership programs, but only as a role-playing actor, quietly sleuthing and absorbing all the tricks and resources I could find.

In 2012, I'd been running programs for other training organisations on leadership skills, conflict resolution, retail customer service and more off-the-shelf, and very broad, workshop titles.

I knew I could do better.

So, Bodkin Training was born. I began consulting, writing, designing, developing, delivering, hiring, learning, and coaching...and loved it all.

Today, Bodkin Training has its own clients across Australia, and I'm an Associate with several other exceptional providers...all the while still acting on stage and screen, working with individual coaching clients, and spending time with my beautiful family in Sydney.
